- Promotion Period
The Promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 1 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 30 November 2026 (Promotion Period). Times referred to in these Terms are Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight Time as applicable. Entrants located in states and territories that do not observe daylight saving for all or part of the Promotion Period should convert the above times to their local equivalent.
- Eligibility
- Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, except those referred to in clause 4(b) (Eligible Entrants).
- The following persons are not eligible to enter: employees, directors, contractors and agents of the Promoter, of Participating Retailers, of participating distributors, and of the Promoter’s advertising and promotional agencies, and any other entity directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion (together, Associated Entities); and immediate family members of any person referred to above.
- Immediate family means spouse, de facto partner, parent, grandparent, child, sibling, or any person residing at the same residential address as a person referred to in clause 4(b).
- By submitting an Entry, an Entrant warrants that they are an Eligible Entrant. The Promoter may disqualify any Entrant it reasonably believes is not an Eligible Entrant.
- How to Enter
To enter the Promotion, during the Promotion Period an Entrant must:
- purchase Eligible Product(s) to a combined value of at least $1,000 (GST inclusive) from a Participating Retailer in a single transaction;
- retain the original, itemised proof of purchase for that transaction (Proof of Purchase);
- complete the official online entry form above during the Promotion Period, providing their full name, contact details, residential state/territory, and a legible copy or photograph of their Proof of Purchase;
- submit, as part of the entry form, a written response of 25 words or fewer to the question “Why did you choose WoodEvo?” (Response); and
- where the Eligible Product(s) were purchased through a Tradie, provide the information required by clause 6,
(together, an Entry). An Entry that does not include a valid Response, or that is incomplete, illegible, or not accompanied by a valid Proof of Purchase, is not a valid Entry and may be excluded from judging at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion. Entries received after 11:59pm AEDT on 30 November 2026, as recorded by the entry platform’s server clock, will not be accepted. The Promoter is not responsible for any Entry that is lost, late, misdirected, or not received for any reason, including technical disruption, network congestion, or a fault in any telecommunications, internet or other service outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
- Purchases via Trade Contractors
Where an Entrant purchased the Eligible Product(s) through a Tradie, the Entrant must provide, as part of their Entry:
- the Tradie’s business name, contact name, email address and phone number; and
- the invoice number issued by the Participating Retailer for that purchase,
so that the Promoter may contact the Tradie and the Participating Retailer to verify the Proof of Purchase and confirm the Participating Retailer from which the Eligible Product(s) were purchased. By providing these details, the Entrant warrants that they have the Tradie’s consent to disclose the Tradie’s information to the Promoter for this purpose, and consents to the Promoter contacting the Tradie and the Participating Retailer for this purpose. Where the information required by this clause 6 is not provided, is incomplete, or cannot be verified, the related Entry may be declared invalid at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.
- Multiple Entries
An Entrant may submit more than one Entry, provided each Entry is supported by a separate, valid and distinct qualifying purchase and corresponding Proof of Purchase. Entries not meeting this requirement may be treated as a single Entry or excluded, at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.
- Entrant Warranties
By submitting a Response, an Entrant represents and warrants that:
- the Response is their own original work and has not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other person or source;
- the Response does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party; and
- the Response does not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
- Selection of Winner(s)
This Promotion is a game of skill. The outcome is not determined, wholly or in part, by chance.
- For the purposes of judging, Entrants are grouped into five Regions based on their residential state or territory as provided with their Entry:
- New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory;
- Western Australia and the Northern Territory;
- Victoria;
- Queensland; and
- Tasmania and South Australia.
- A national panel of three WoodEvo representatives (WoodEvo Panel) will independently review and score every valid Entry received during the Promotion Period. After reading an Entry’s Response, each member of the WoodEvo Panel will award that Entry a score out of 10 against each of the criteria in clause 9(c), producing three scores per Entry from each panel member (nine scores per Entry in total).
- Each Entry will be assessed against the following criteria, each weighted equally:
- creativity;
- originality; and
- relevance to the promotional question.
- For each Entry, the nine scores given under clause 9(b) are added together and divided by nine to produce that Entry’s Average Score (out of 10). For each Region, the Entries with the 10 highest Average Scores form that Region’s shortlist. If two or more Entries are tied for the 10th-highest Average Score within a Region, all tied Entries are included in that Region’s shortlist, which may accordingly comprise more than 10 Entries.
- Each Region’s shortlist will be provided, with Entrant-identifying information removed, to a two-person Regional Panel appointed by WoodEvo’s distributor for that Region. The Regional Panels are constituted as follows:
- a separate Regional Panel for the New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory Region;
- a separate Regional Panel for the Western Australia/Northern Territory Region; and
- a single Regional Panel, common to the Victoria, Queensland, and Tasmania/South Australia Regions, which considers the shortlist for each of those three Regions separately.
- The Regional Panel for a Region must unanimously select one winning Entry from that Region’s shortlist, resulting in five winning Entries across the Promotion (one per Region). If a Regional Panel is unable to reach unanimous agreement within 5 business days of receiving its Region’s shortlist, the WoodEvo Panel will select the winning Entry for that Region from the shortlist, acting reasonably and in good faith.
- Judging will take place within 30 days after the Promotion Period closes (that is, on or before 30 December 2026). The WoodEvo Panel’s review will take place at WoodEvo head office; each Regional Panel’s review will take place through arrangements made by the relevant distributor.
- The decision of a Regional Panel (or, where clause 9(f) applies, the WoodEvo Panel) as to the winning Entry for a Region is final. Nothing in this clause 9 excludes, restricts or modifies any right an Entrant has under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
- For the purposes of judging, Entrants are grouped into five Regions based on their residential state or territory as provided with their Entry:
- Notification and Claiming of Prize
- The winner for each Region will be notified by phone and/or email within 7 business days of that Region’s winning Entry being determined under clause 9, using the contact details provided with their Entry.
- If, using reasonable efforts, the Promoter or relevant distributor is unable to contact a Region’s winner within 30 days of the first notification attempt, or that winner does not respond to claim their Prize within that period, the Promoter may disqualify that winner and refer the matter back to the relevant Regional Panel (or the WoodEvo Panel, as applicable) to select the next-preferred Entry from that Region’s shortlist, subject to the same notification process.
- The Prize
- There are 5 Prizes to be won under this Promotion — one awarded to the winning Entry in each Region described in clause 9(a) — each comprising one Backyard Entertainment Pack.
- Each Prize has a guaranteed minimum retail value of $5,000 (GST inclusive) in every Region; the total prize pool across all 5 Prizes has a guaranteed minimum combined value of $25,000 (GST inclusive).
- Specific inclusions within a Prize may vary by state, distributor and availability at the time of fulfilment, provided the minimum value in clause 11(b) is met. Indicative Prize inclusions are available on this page.
- A Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
- If any advertised Prize (or component of a Prize) is unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s or a participating distributor’s control, the Promoter or participating distributor may substitute that Prize (or component) with an item of equal or greater value, at their reasonable discretion.
- A winner is responsible for any costs associated with using, redeeming or receiving delivery of the Prize that are not expressly included in the Prize (for example, installation costs or delivery outside a participating distributor’s standard delivery area), except as required by law.
- Verification and Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries, the eligibility of Entrants, and any Proof of Purchase, and to disqualify any Entrant or Entry that:
- involves any tampering with, or unauthorised interference with, the entry process;
- is fraudulent, misleading, or incomplete; or
- does not otherwise comply with these Terms.
The Promoter’s decisions in connection with the conduct of the Promotion, including as to verification and disqualification, are final. To the extent permitted by law, no correspondence will be entered into regarding those decisions.
- Privacy and Use of Personal Information
- The Promoter collects personal information about Entrants (including name, contact details, and any information contained in a Proof of Purchase, Response or accompanying imagery, and, where clause 6 applies, information about the Entrant’s Tradie) in order to conduct the Promotion, including to validate Entries, notify and verify winners, and fulfil Prizes.
- The Promoter handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and its Privacy Policy, available at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles, which contains information about how an individual may access or seek correction of their personal information, and how to make a privacy complaint.
- If an Entrant does not provide the personal information requested as part of the entry process, the Promoter may not be able to accept their Entry.
- Marketing and Publicity Consent
- By submitting an Entry, an Entrant consents to the Promoter and participating distributors using the Entrant’s first name, suburb and state, submitted Response, and any imagery submitted with their Entry, for marketing and promotional purposes connected with this Promotion (including on the Promoter’s website and social media channels operated in Australia), for a period of 24 months from the end of the Promotion Period, without further compensation to the Entrant.
- An Entrant may withdraw the consent referred to in clause 14(a) at any time by written notice to the Promoter at info@woodevo.com.au, after which the Promoter will cease further use of the relevant material as soon as reasonably practicable, without affecting use that has already occurred.
- Where an Entrant submits imagery as part of their Entry, the Entrant warrants that they own, or have obtained all necessary rights and consents (including the consent of any identifiable individual depicted) to grant, the licence described in clause 14(a).
- Winner Property Media Consent: By ticking the corresponding box on the entry form, each Entrant agrees that, if selected as a Winner, the Promoter (or its appointed representatives) may attend the Winner’s property, at a time and date mutually agreed with the Winner, to photograph and film the Winner’s completed outdoor project incorporating the Prize. Each Winner grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish those images and recordings across the Promoter’s digital, print and social media channels, for promotional and marketing purposes connected with the Promotion, for a period of up to 24 months from the date that Winner is announced, without further compensation to the Winner. A Winner may withdraw this consent at any time by written notice to the Promoter at info@woodevo.com.au, after which the Promoter will cease further use of the relevant material as soon as reasonably practicable; this does not affect use that has already occurred, and does not affect the Winner’s entitlement to a Prize already awarded.
- Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, contractors and agents) excludes all liability (including for negligence) for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including indirect or consequential loss), personal injury or death, arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or a Prize, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
- General
- The Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable law and any necessary regulatory approval, to vary, suspend or cancel the Promotion, or amend these Terms, where circumstances arise outside its reasonable control that make this necessary. Any such variation will be notified at https://www.woodevo.com.au/spring-promo-terms-and-conditions/.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and each Entrant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State/Territory.
- If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred on an Entrant by the Australian Consumer Law, or by any other applicable law, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
